3 March - Madajazz - The the Bags and Hats from Madagascar

Jane Muddle takes us on a trip around Madagascar Island, telling us how the bags and hats are made and involving the audience in some modelling.

7 April - Bond Social Evening
To celebrate the release of the latest Bond film, No Time to Die, we are hosting a 007 themed social evening.

 5 May - The RNLI - It’s Not All at Sea
Colin Brown presents the fascinating story of the modern RNLI operations, equipment and training.

2 June - Friends Against Scams
Diane Simms from NatWest bank shows us how to protect ourselves and others against fraud and scams.

7 July - The Lady with the Lamp

Major Paul Whittle presents the Florence Nightingale Story - the life and achievements of this remarkable Victorian lady.

4 August - Games Evening
Join us for fun and games for this year’s summer social evening. This is an extra meeting so charges apply to cover costs.

1 September - Waitrose & Partners

We discover how Waitrose began and grew into the supermarket we know today, followed by a tasting session of some of their products.

 6 October - Freddie Habgood - My Lost Uncle
Our own Marilyn Corrigan reveals the story of her uncle Freddie, an RAF bomber, his death and the discovery of his identity bracelet at Struhof Concentration Camp.

 3 November  - Annual Meeting
The yearly review of our WI and selection of our committee

 1 December - Christmas Crafts
Join us in some simple and fun Christmas craft projects and bring a gift for Secret Santa.
